Alternate offense by the establishment

Amidst the slow reaction from our military , intelligence, government/foreign office, an alternate counter offense seems to be unfolding. Last night, Junaid Saleem on the programme Hasb-e-Haal asked the following questions about the "alleged" operation in Abbottabad. The relevant parts of the programme can be watched here (01:20 onwards) and here (07:00 to 07:30).

During the course of the programme Mr Saleem repeatedly claimed that whatever he was saying he was doing so from a common tv viewer's perspective and not to prove a point. His queries were: 

1. CIA and all other intelligence agencies claimed that Osama bin Laden had the most strict personal security in the world. How could such a man become a target in a house with so little security arrangements and no modern equipment?
2. Is there any area in Pakistan where it is possible to build a 10-kanal house and hide the fact that the world's most terrorist was living there with his three wives?
3. CIA claimed that Osama was hiding in the world's most fortified bunkers. The house in Abbottabad which was allegedly built with USD 1 million, why was there no tunnel or alternate exit from which he could have escaped? Was he waiting for the Americans to come down from the helicopters and grab him? 
4. The data which Americans have taken, they will use it to pressurise Pakistanis to "do more." They can also use that data and make any claims; they can accuse there was a conversation between General Kiyani and bin Laden or between Pasha and Zawahiri.

In today's The News, there is a news story along the similar lines. I'm reproducing the last four paragraphs which quote certain "intelligence gathering experts:"

The intelligence gathering experts, who have served as senior slot in intelligence gathering outfits, have brushed aside any possibility of links of OBL with the security agencies. Had OBL was living in the compound with the connivance of the security agencies, he would have been provided invincible structure with sophisticated gadgets fitted in it. There would have been safe exit provided in such compound for emergency needs. The residence of such person/persons would have not been on an elevated multi-story building. Such building could have been built underground with enormous comforts in it. The building would have been equipped with modern facilities and foolproof security would have been provided to such person/persons. It is highly unlikely that he would have not been provided with fully trained guards who could play some role for protection of the person/persons in any eventuality. OBL was caught like a sitting duck on the fateful evening as he was living like a retired landlord whose heirs have given him up and living in helplessness. In the absence of any facility of modern communication with the world outside how could he marshal his disciples around the world if any, the experts questioned.

They are of the view that a person who did not come out of his room for five long years could not be a potential danger for anyone what talk of the United States or any other country in West. The West has used OBL as a bogy for its international motives and especially the Muslims across the world. He could have been sources of discomfort for the West some years ago but it appears that he was living a life of a man on run.

The experts have quoted the pattern of society in South Asian countries where fugitives spend decades and years together in rural areas without giving any hint to the people and authorities around them about their clue. They also follow the same pattern. Police could never reach them.

The experts pointed out that ever since the US marines have reportedly recovered some computers and disks from OBL compound, the so-called recovered gadgets could now be used for fabrication of any fiction around OBL and his benefactors. The world should wait for such revelations.
